Africa For Jesus July 21, 2007 - Continental Decrees
Individually and collectively, we the Body of Christ have mourned, fasted and repented since July 18. Now is the time to make prophetic decrees to destoy the plans of the enemy for Africa.
We the Body of Christ believe God has forgiven our individual sins, has forgiven our collective sins, and has forgiven our national historical sins. God has in His mercy broken all inherited curses that have held our nations captive. Together we unite to destroy anything that has intimidated and defiled the Body of Christ.
As Christian people, we must arise to dedicate our nations back to God, nothing we plan will solve the problems in Africa. Without depending on the power of God, no amount of education will eliminate the problems. The huge financial loans will continue to keep us in poverty. The free drugs sent to cure the epidemics of Africa will create a myriad of new diseases.
Today, we have united to pray for our nations to be blessed. We lift our hands in gratitude for all YOU have given to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We thank YOU for making us partakers of this rich continent. Father God, thank YOU for the air we breathe, the mountains, the valleys and natural resources. Together we declare, YOU are the only ONE who gives us hope and power to eradicate poverty, diseases, greed, corruption and ignorance. We take responsibility and turn to your power within us. Together by faith, we break the curses of poverty. We come against idolatry, superstitions, inferiority, ignorance, inadequacy and inefficiency. In unity we destroy the devil’s schemes that hinder the progress of our people and our nations.
You have given us the authority to destroy the works of the devil in every form. We thank YOU for the many great African envoys YOU have used to bless other nations. We thank YOU that many countries around the world have benefited from Africa’s human and natural resources. You created us to be a blessing to the nations of the world. Help us and our leaders to use African resources with wisdom.
We decree and declare YOU are the only one who can bring restoration so our nations may be blessed and free from all calamities. Today, as we unite and pray, transform us. May our minds be renewed to walk in your authority to change the course of nations. We are destroying every evil schemes that kill, steals and intimidate our children. Show them how to be good stewards of all YOU have created and given to them. The earth is YOURS and the fullness thereof. Whom and what YOU bless is continuously blessed.
Father God, we have obeyed YOUR word to unite, We have humbled ourselves individually and as a nation. We decree that devastating diseases will no longer plague us or our children. We decree, we will live prospering in health, and abounding in peace. It is YOU who gives us the ability and power to get wealth. Everything we set our hands to do will be blessed in the mighty name of Jesus. Our families are blessed, our children are blessed, our farms and businesses are blessed. We are blessed when we travel within our cities or out of our country. Africans are blessed.
We will not be in debt, we will owe no nation anything but love and hospitality. Thank YOU Mighty Creator for giving us abundance and causing us to abound in all good things. Today we unite to declare that our nations are great and rich in Jesus’ Name. Our cultures shall be re-established upon YOUR counsel. Our fields shall produce great harvest and acquire great wealth. We will construct our own buildings to erect hospitals, schools, shopping centers, residential estates, and vocational training centers. Our people will live decently in the villages and cities. We will have good roads, electrical powered streetlights and pure water. We decree prosperity in all honorable enterprises.
We pray for our leaders who honor YOU with a special annual Day of Thanksgiving Prayer (each 3rd Saturday of July). YOU will bless African Leaders with wisdom and favor above all other nations because they will rule with justice and integrity. Give the people of Africa who are overseas favor to hold top positions with integrity. Give them a burden to return and help to transform their communities for YOUR glory and the dignity of their people.
FATHER GOD OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST,
- We decree that ways to provide for the orphans and widows of Africa as if they are our own flesh will be revealed.
- We decree that injustice, poverty, diseases and ignorance without compromise will be fought as YOU direct us.
- We decree wisdom and strategies for leaders in the building and rebuilding of infrastructure in our nations will be a priority.
- We decree our nation and the great continent of Africa is going to be healthy spiritually, economically, physically, and socially, because the enemy is defeated in the name of Jesus.
- We decree and declare the kingdoms of Africa are becoming the kingdom of our God and of His Christ. We will lend to many nations. No one will manipulate our resources.
- We decree and declare our nation will become a great nation of righteousness and prosperity.
- We decree and declare to replenish the earth, to subdue all principalities and powers.
- We decree and declare to dominate what YOU have created.
- We will declare YOUR greatness among the nations and YOUR name will be exalted.
GOD, thank YOU for making ways in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The world will look upon us and see the changes because of YOUR great favor and intervention upon Africa and her people. Our ways will prosper and we shall have good success in the villages, cities, nations and be great influence in the whole world.
Mighty Creator, God of the entire universe - everything exists because of YOUR Power and Grace. Thank YOU for loving us first and giving us Jesus Christ, the Name that has power above all other names. Thank YOU for all YOUR blessings upon us, and all the natural resources that will start to benefit the people of Africa more than ever before. Thank you for long life to enjoy your blessings.
Thank YOU for our official leaders and the presidents who are going to follow YOUR counsel to lead the people. Thank YOU for the good plans YOU have for us and the many opportunities which are going to follow our children, who are the greatest asset of our future. We desire to walk in humility, righteousness and integrity. Help us to be compassionate to those who are hurting and in need. Help us to be mindful of YOUR soon return so we can be found without wrinkle or spot.
FATHER God, we give YOU all the honor, all the adoration, and all the glory for hearing our prayers which have been offered and will continue to be offered in every country of Africa. We take the responsibility to be fruitful in all YOUR ways to multiply, by spreading the love of Jesus and walking in obedience to your Word.
We decree and declare that Africa is being delivered in Jesus Name.
